I loved this Debbie. This is a podcast that I really want to listen to. Unfortunately I just have not got into properly listening to podcasts. It is something that when I am back walking the dog I want to make myself do. I cannot sit still and my kind wanders. But this has really gripped me. I am off to listen now xxx
It kept my attention and I your very honest questioning and Kirsten’s responses.
I can recognise a lot the her reasons as ones that exist here in the UK, phones, social media etc etc. It would be really interesting if you interviewed her in a year or so after their move to Italy. My husband wanted to move to France years ago for similar reasons. I do still wonder why would have happened if we had. I found her honesty around religion refreshing too.
I did have a slight interruption chasing Mildred, one of my black labs, round the house to retrieve a cucumber she was happily munching on. Xxxx
Jo, great idea to interview her again in a year! And thanks for listening. I do think her example of deliberately slowing down - and moving to another country - is extremely instructive. Especially as she has had such a high profile career in the U.S.
I love knowing your enneagram now! I'm a 4 :)
I’ll have to look that one up. I’m still an Enneagram newbie!
